25 Universities to get Drones WTF!!!

In the coming years, domestic drones will be used for commercial purposes, by law enforcement, for agricultural purposes; by media organizations, the possibilities are really endless. And the FAA has already approved 25 universities to fly drones in US airspace. Some have already created degrees in unmanned aviation. But while it's an exciting frontier that could create new jobs in the future, should we be concerned that the military and defense contractors are the funders behind much of the research? Salon's Jefferson Morley discusses.
