Are Chechen militants fighting in Ukraine? - Truthloader

Anecdotal evidence has begun to emerge suggesting that the Vostok battalion, an officially disbanded unit of Chechen fighters in the Russian military, are fighting on the side of separatist rebels in Donetsk, Ukraine. Chechnya has denied sending troops to the region but hasn't ruled out private citizens travelling there on their own. However, reports from locals seem to suggest a heavily armed, well equipped Chechen unit is operating in the area - and taking casualties. Oh, and there's fighters wearing Vostok armbands standing around too. Which is suspicious if nothing else...
